Moisture in Hearing Instruments: Problematic, Prevalent, and Professionally Preventable
"It only takes a small amount of moisture to have a large impact on hearing instrument performance. AudioScan Verifit outcomes show that as little as 0.5 microliters (uLs) of water in the receiver alone can have as much as a 30 dB impact on an aid’s amplification performance."
