The popular animated children's series, Bluey, just aired a very special episode featuring a new character named Dougie. What makes the new little pup distinct is the character is deaf, and is depicted as using Auslan (majority sign language of the Australian Deaf community) to communicate with his mum.

"After three years of intense litigation, this matter has come to a critical juncture," the judge wrote. Without a settlement she says the entire federal judiciary will be strained by the sheer volume of earplug cases, which number 233,883 as of June 10.

Individuals with Bilateral Vestibulopathy demonstrated cognitive deficits compared with healthy controls particularly in immediate memory, visuospatial cognition, and attention. The cognitive loss was found to be independent of concurrent hearing loss.
