Nuheara Marks Transition to Medical Device Company with FDA 510(k) Submission | PDF

Hearing loss and depressive symptoms in older Chinese: whether social isolation plays a role

Research from China shows hearing loss was independently associated with a higher risk of depressive symptoms. While the study found that about 9% of the association could be explained by social isolation, this did not fully explain the link between poor hearing and depressive symptoms.

Lexie Partners with Bose to Offer Lexie B1 Powered by Bose Hearing Aids

Lexie Hearing, a US direct-to-consumer hearing aid provider, announced it will be offering self-fitting hearing aid technology formerly featured in the Bose SoundControl hearing aid. The new Lexie B1 Hearing Aids will allow people with mild-to-moderate hearing loss to fit, program, and control their hearing aids with “clinically proven, audiologist-quality results—without a doctor visit, hearing test, or prescription.”
