Brain structure correlates with auditory function in children diagnosed with auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder (ANSD)

This research suggests auditory difficulties experienced by children with ANSD are related to brain structural abnormalities and that there may be potential for structural imaging to be used as a biomarker for stratifying treatment, including prediction of auditory functioning like speech perception outcomes.
