Chemo-Related Hearing Loss May Have Emotional, Social Impacts in Testicular Cancer Survivors

In research involving 243 testicular cancer survivors who had been treated with cisplatin-based therapies, 56.4% reported having hearing loss and 60.5% reported tinnitus. Only 10% of survivors with hearing loss used hearing aids, and 35.8% reported significant functional impairment associated with hearing loss.
