Passings: Audiology Research Legend Charles "Chuck" Berlin (1933-2024)

Charles Berlin, PhD, former director of the Kresge Hearing Research Laboratory at LSU Medical School, passed away on Wednesday at age 90. Along with being a remarkable jazz musician, lecturer, and author, Dr. Berlin was a world expert on the auditory system, ABRs, and auditory neuropathy/dys-synchrony.

New technology could help treat hearing loss more effectively
