Allostatic load and risk of hearing impairment

Allostatic load is an index of cumulative, often-modifiable physiological stressors (including inflammation) in your body, and this study finds high allostatic load was associated with greater risk of hearing loss. Reducing allostatic load via healthy lifestyles including non-smoking, healthy diet, and exercise may reduce the risk of hearing impairment in later life.

Eargo Announces Proxy Solicitation; Must Resolve $100M Financing with Patient Square Capital
