Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Legislation Passed by House and Senate

The U.S. House and Senate have passed the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Act of 2022, which reauthorizes research and programs for early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing loss in newborns and young children for an another 5 years. The bill was unanimously passed in the Senate and by a vote of 408-17 in the House, and will now be sent to President Biden for his signature.
