The clock is ticking for Apple to release a USB-C iPhone under new EU rules

Apple previously confirmed it will comply with EU rules to make a USB-C iPhone. Interestingly, the article states Apple's SVP of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak says he "doesn't mind governments telling us what they want to accomplish," but offers the example that Apple's engineers made "an industry standard" hearing aid for iPhones after the US government made a regulation for mobile phones to meet a hearing aid compatibility that didn't work.
